Desperate Housewives cast to host "The View"
On every day of the week starting February 7th, the cast from "Desperate Housewives" will host ABC's "The View" while the show airs from Los Angeles. The five stars, Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Nicollette Sheridan, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross will each host the daytime talk show for a day. They will temporarily replace "The View" moderator Meredith Vieira, who will not be making the trip from New York to Los Angeles because of "family obligations". The week will be a themed series called "The View Celebrates Los Angeles" broadcasted live from Disney's El Capitan Theater. On Sunday, "Desperate Housewives" won the Golden Globes for best comedy or musical TV series. Teri Hatcher also won a Golden Globe for best actress in a TV comedy or musical. (Other hosts of "The View" include Barbara Walters, Star Jones Reynolds, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck.) |
